North Waziristan Has To Be Attacked

Ever since the SEAL Team Six raid that took out Osama bin Laden last month - our relations with Pakistan have been strained at best and downright hostile at worst. Although, the Pakistan authorities have picked up the pace on attacking dozens of Taliban within their borders, even to the point of using fighter jets.

But it isn't enough.

Americans understand the difficult balancing act that Pakistan has to play when dealing with the War on Terror and their own involvement. However, we expect more attacks from our ally and we demand them in the Jihadist hotbed of North Waziristan, which is used to launch strikes against NATO forces in Afghanistan.

After years of intense fighting we have pushed the Jihadists out of Afghanistan, but without either constructing a controversial border wall or planning a large offensive against their hideouts across the border, we will be unable to achieve victory in the Afghan-Pak theater of America's ongoing War on Terror.

We have long pushed for Pakistan to lead the assault because we're busy enough with fighting/killing the Jihadists that come over their porous border regularly and hide among the innocent in remote areas, but we cannot wait any longer for action.

Our military needs to send their Pakistan counterparts a message: clean up your own mess, or else we will do more than send SEAL Team Six in next time.

We will win this War in Afghanistan and Pakistan will not stop us in anyway.

What say you?

  1. We (US) are on a knife's edge and there is nothing but air below. We risk a disruption of our logistics train as we'e seen before. There are so many questions that need to be asked and answered. The only way out of this dilemma is covert operations.
