Samantha Power as Next Sec. of State?

I'm sure that there's a collective huh? coming from all those that are reading this. Samantha Power, who had previously been most known for her attacks on Hillary Clinton, may be moving up in the White House. This is the same Samantha Power that called for an invasion of Israel.... the same Power that has shown herself to be frightfully naive.

Going on Comedy Central proves your competency, right?
So she is in the talks to replace Mrs. Clinton when she is expected to step down in the next two years.

Power attempts to keep a low profile after she described Hillary Rodham Clinton as "a monster" during the 2008 presidential election campaign. Her remarks saw her step down from her position as an advisor on Obama’s campaign. Since then, the women have reconciled.
Obama initially headhunted Power in 2005, after reading her book. After a long meeting, Power decided to take leave from her Harvard professorship to work for the then senator.

Scouted out by Obama himself? For what?

Maybe her stellar qualifications for the job:

She once posed in an evening gown for Men’s Vogue and played a game of basketball with George Clooney. She has been described by the Daily Beast as “the femme fatale of the humanitarian assistance world.”

Seriously? Did she also fill out a March Madness bracket?
