Muslim Brotherhood Leader: Gaddafi Must Die

URGENT- Read our Live Blog of the events in Libya today, 8/21/11.

With the tensions exploding in Libya, protesters being massacred in the street, and entire cities falling to rioters, the Muslim Brotherhood is not keeping quiet.
Gaddafi
The Muslim cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi, a spiritual head of the MB, stated today:
"Whoever in the Libyan army is able to shoot a bullet at Mr Gaddafi should do so."
Sky News reports:
Influential Muslim cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi has issued a fatwa that any Libyan soldier who can shoot dead embattled leader Muammar Gaddafi should do so 'to rid Libya of him.'
'Whoever in the Libyan army is able to shoot a bullet at Mr Gaddafi should do so,' Qaradawi, an Egyptian-born cleric who is usually based in Qatar, told Al-Jazeera television.
He also told Libyan soldiers 'not to obey orders to strike at your own people,' and urged Libyan ambassadors around the world to dissociate themselves from Gaddafi's regime.

  6. Wesley 'Whitey Lawful' Mcgranor - you are an ignorant fool. If you think the Muslim Brotherhood is going to help Libya or any other muslim country become more free, you are either sadly misinformed or just another left-wing nut. If they take over the world, your kind are the first to go!!

  10. If an injury has to be inflicted/done to a man it should be so severe that his vengeance need not be feared” as it’s not the size of a dog in a fight that matters,it is the size of the fight in a dog. D coalition forces must, ensure that Gaddafi is removed from power alongside with his partners or else, libya will become another north korea in africa.

  11. Be it as it may, by learning so often, the monkeys’ jumps from tree to trees without falling but he who rubs others with pebbles is asking for stones in return. What is happening in libya is,a grate lesson to the rest tyrants in Africa especially NIGERIA AND ZIMBABWE where corruption is legalized and rulers feels they are above the law.If you are above constitutional laws of your country,ur not above rebel laws. Its NIGERIAN'S TURN,LET WATCH D OUTCOME OF THIS ELECTION.PDP BE WARE.

  12. Wow, I'm really surprised at most of your responses. You all seem to think this is a good thing. Don't you understand why the MB is supporting Qaddafi's fall? It's because he has always opposed them. He stands in the way of their dream for a Muslim caliphate from one end of the middle east to the other. And Obama through this insane war he's started is SUPPORTING them in that goal. This is all BAD.

  13. You people dont get it . . . don't you see its all a political scapegoat? THEY WANT GAS! Maybe one day we will have a true leader instead of a man who is to scared to stand up for the American people.

  14. In the muslim brotherhood you must be willing to cut eachother's throats before you are willing to stand up for one another. Any question as to why terrorists are Muslim? They have no respect for human life. It's all just a power game to them, and they aren't ashamed to just go out and say it.

  15. Any which way you look at this mess in Libya, it is a civil war. And the "allied" forces are simply playing the advantage to finish gadafi off. How can the international community support the rebels ? Rebels are rebels ! Makes no sense at all. Ghadaffi has every right to defend his government. Of course if you use air strikes day after day, definitely one will topple the regime. Its bully.
