Angry and possibly deranged, Maummar Gaddafi spoke quickly and enraged in a rambling speech that aired on Al Jazeera this morning.
"Where were you," he screamed.

He continued, "The struggle for power has been resolved.  When America raided us, we fought the French in the south and Sadat in the north.  And we fought him.  All forces of the colonials...We said no!"

"I call on the Libyan people to form new principalities," Gaddafi went on.  "On the day of the revolution, where were you!"

As you can probably tell, Gaddafi's speech was disjointed and angry, while he yelled for the majority of it.
"Young people are given the armed vehicles in Benghazi...collect your children in you love Gaddafi," he rambled on.  "Take the greasy rats out of the street.  If we have to use force, we will used it based on the Libyan constitution."

Some excerpts of his speech:

"I will fight until the last drop of my blood with the Libyan people behind me...we have been bitten by American aggression!  They took away your children from you!  Your children are dying for what reason, for what purpose?  No reason.  Your children died!"
"Rats will reach the oil fields and blow it!"

"Americans... dropping bombs on it!"

"Any Libyans who raise an arm will be punished with death."

  1. I think this man is dangerously sick. If he has no problem to kill his own people, what should prevent him buy a nuclear bomb from weapons trafficants and drop it in Europe for example?

What is going on in Lybia right now is only the tip of the iceberg. I predict the same kind of massacre we saw in Boznia a decade ago, probably worst.

Questions of freedom should never be subordinate to questions of power.
