Man Shot at Giffords Rally Arrested for Shouting Death Threat at Tea Partier

James Eric Fuller, who was shot in the leg last week in Tucson by Jared Loughner was incarcerated in a mental institution after shouting a death threat at a member of the Tea Party.

This happened after a representative of the movement suggested that the discussion on gun control should take place after the funerals of last week's victims. In response, Fuller took a picture of the man and shouted, "You're dead."

Fuller was arrested and carried away by deputies:

The Pima County Sheriff's Office said J. Eric Fuller, 63, was involuntarily committed to an undisclosed medical facility, NBC News reported. The Associated Press said he was undergoing a psychiatric evaluation.
He faces charges of threats and intimidation and disorderly conduct, according to Tucson TV station KGUN.

  1. When he first starting saying that it was Beck and Palin's fault, plus he was ex-military, I did a little cursory search on the guy.

Fuller has a pretty compact online presence, but it is pretty hate-filled.
