Liberals Change Grayson Wikipedia Page to Show that he Was 'Right' about "Taliban Dan"

Democrat Alan Grayson is in the political race of his life.  Running for the House of Representatives, the first-term Congressman is in a close race with Republican Daniel Webster.  Recently Grayson released a political advertisement that stated that his opponent was part of an American Taliban and that Webster wished to subjugate women.  The ad is underneath:



The ad, and Grayson himself, received a firestorm of condemnation from the right and even a few on the left after it had been discovered that Grayson's campaign had knowingly doctored the video featured in the ad.  Instead of showing Daniel Webster, who Grayson calls "Taliban Dan," giving a speech on women's rights, the ad was cut to show Webster saying that women should "submit" to men.

FactCheck.org, a site that dedicates itself to checking the validity of political ads, declared that Grayson's ad was utterly false and misleading.  But there are some that could not let it rest.

Wikipedia is the world's largest online encyclopedia, getting millions of readers daily.  The site can be edited by anyone with an internet connection, so long as there is no "lock" on the article (which is extremely rare).  On Grayson's page it was written that his "Taliban Dan" ad was declared false.  That is, it was written until liberals swarmed to the site and revised history.

Before being reverted back to the original page, several changes were made to make it appear that Grayson's ad was indeed correct in asserting that Daniel Webster was a terrorist (click on picture to read):

The yellow was the original script, the green is what remained after a liberal took out the second paragraph.  The words in red were taken out. Under why the revision was made, the user stated, "More obvious attempts at making Democrats look bad- smear campaigning violates neutrality."

But changing facts wasn't the only attempt by liberals on Wikipedia to change the reality surrounding Grayson.  To make it appear that Grayson was well in the lead in the race, liberal Wikipedia users took out polls that showed Webster leading (click to read):

Under why they changed the information, the user wrote, "That poll is from some freak Republican tabloid that doesn't disclose its methodology and has no previous poll in the district to compare - and other polls have shown Grayson way ahead."

I guess the liberal media doesn't end in the mainstream.  It extends to Wikipedia, which prides itself on neutrality.  I guess some liberals have the time to lie and defend phonies like Grayson.

Update: As of this time (6:08pm, Monday, 10/4/10), Wikipedia has corrected the liberal bias.  It is unknown how long this will last.
